Tastefully Tuesday...

Usually I take this opportunity to post a great recipe and coupons for you an the offer a No Cook option. Today I am doing something a little different, I am doing a product review and a giveaway for a new line of Freschetta Pizza called Simply Inspired. Believe me, they really are inspired! I went to the grocery store with the Freschetta on my list but no specific type, they make six varieties and right now have two seasonal varieties to choose from, Harvest Supreme, Farmers Market Veggie, Hawaiian Style, Rustic Pepperoni Pomodoro, Southern BBQ Recipe Chicken, Classic Bruschetta, and the limited editions; Tuscan Farmhouse and Chicken Bianco. After a little debate I decided to try the Farmers Market Veggie with all it great fresh looking veggies. I think that any pizza that can keep vegetables tasting fresh on a frozen product are wonderful and these looked so good I just had to see if it would turn out as good as it looked on the package.

When I opened the pizza to cook it I was surprised at how good everything looked, Mozzarella Cheese, Portabella mushrooms, tomatoes, zucchini and red onions on a nice Thin and Crispy style crust. Cooking it for the 14 minutes was such torture; we could smell all the great veggies and the seasonings they used in their signature sauce, but it was worth the short wait! The crust got nice and crisp and the vegetables all seemed to come alive with their flavors because they are roasted before the pizza is frozen. The other great thing is that for all that flavor you only have 310 calories from a third of the pizza, really amazing!! Granted, my husband and I ate the whole thing, but it was sooooo worth it!
