Meet me on Monday...

I am so glad to have Java from Never Growing Old back doing the Meet me on Monday blog posts, they are always such a fun way to start off the new week!  So without Further adieu here are this weeks questions and answers...

1. I can't stand when someone ________?
2. Do you do daily, weekly or monthly grocery shopping?
3. What kind of car do you drive?
4. Crunchy or soft tacos?
5. What's the habit you are proudest of breaking?

1. I can't stand when someone ________?

Won't try something once to see if they like it, I have nieces and nephews that won't try foods because they "know it will taste bad", on the flip side I have a niece that lives near me that loves to try new things, we have a lot of fun.  My motto is "if you don't like it you never have to eat it again."

2. Do you do daily, weekly or monthly grocery shopping?

Its just the two of us so we shop pretty much weekly for produce, dairy and bakery goods, monthly for all the stuff that lasts longer.

3. What kind of car do you drive?

We had a Chev. Truck that we love, its great for long trips because it is sooooo comfy!!

4. Crunchy or soft tacos?

Definitely soft!

5. What's the habit you are proudest of breaking?

I quite smoking on Christmas day 2008, it was my own Christmas miracle.  :)

I hope you all have a wonderful start to your week!

  1. I believe in trying new things also. I always have to add MOST new things WITHIN REASON, because someone always has to make a sarky comment about if I'd ever "rob a bank" once or...well obviously not. :P

  2. I totally agree on number 1. Try it at least once.

  3. Yeah, for quitting smoking! I like trying new foods within reason. Foreign foods like Ostrich, or chocolate covered insects...NOT! The foods have to be something I can pronounce or common.

  4. As a child I refused to try anything new, but now that I'm older I will try anything once :)

  5. That's how we grew up eating food. It was mandatory to take at least 2 bites and if then we did not like it we did not have to eat it.

I love to read your comments, but due to spamming I have had to turn on the word verification again. Sorry for the extra step.
