Monday's value meal...


The summertime stand by of hot dogs doesn't have to be boring, here are some fun toppings to try before the season is over to spice up your dogs.

The classic chili dog: Chili, chopped onion and shredding cheddar cheese.
The beanie weenie: Mix baked beans with an equal amount of finely chopped tomato with a dash of mustard of your choice.
The salad dog: Lettuce torn up into tiny bits with slices of cucumber and tomato and a bit of finely diced red pepper, chopped into tiny pieces and mixed together.
The California dog: Guacamole, sprouts and chopped tomato.
The French dog: Melted Brie Cheese and chopped ham or bacon.
The Greek dog: Feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes and tzatziki sauce.
The Italian dog: Marinara sauce, sliced mozzarella cheese and crumbled sausage.
The Mexican dog: Re-fried beans, tomato and shredded cheese.
The classic Baseball game Frank: Yellow mustard, sauerkraut and onion.
The Southern dog: Cole slaw, chili and/or bacon.
The Chicago dog: Mustard, white onions, pickle relish, tomato, sport peppers, celery salt and a dill pickle spear

  1. I think that people under estimate hot dogs and how you can play around with them. Those are some good tips on "new to me" hot dogs.
