Friday's freebie...

Well its here, today is my Birthday (old enough, thats how old) so today's freebie is a link to the Spoofee site that lists a ton of places you can get fun free stuff for your birthday.  Oh ya, and a contest to give away a present to one of my readers.  Lets see, how about a $10.00 Amazon Gift certificate emailed to the winner?  If it sounds good here are the ways to enter:

1) Everyone who is following me on Google friends is automatically entered once.

2) Leave me a comment with the best birthday gift you ever got for two entries.

3) Follow me on Facebook for three entries.

4) Solve the word puzzle and send me a private message at CouponQueensThrone@Gmail.com with the answer.  There are three different hints, one on my twitter feed, one at Facebook and this one: Its a bird, its a plane, no its a FISH, the one word answer is worth four entries.

5) Upload a picture of your oldest expired coupon to the Living on Less Facebook page for five entries.

    Happy birthday - nice to see another who is old enough. Although my friends and I put it as old enough to know better and young enough to get away with it. We are looking forward to the day when we put that as old enough to now better and of an age no one dares question our actions. lol

    I have hit your blog a couple of times (once for the sharpie pencils - I am the sharpie freak of the world!).

    I forgot - best birthday gift I ever got was from my kids - they were about 5 and 2 at the time and they got me a really cheap teapot at Pier One because I like a couple of cups of tea before bed. I still use that tea pot 15 years later. They were so proud of getting me something that they had earned the money to buy - they saved all the quarters that dad paid them to take the trash out of his car each time they rode in it.

    I "found" you via your friend Bernie and want to wish you a Happy Birthday! You sound like a wonderful friend, according to Bernie. And I have to believe her.

    As for my favorite birthday gift...that would be the birthday cakes I got each year while growing up. My parents didn't have much money, so we never got birthday presents. But each birthday my mom would let us kids page through a booklet of animal-shaped cake designs. We would pick and then she would bake a homemade chocolate cake and cut and shape and frost it to look like the elephant or duck or horse, or whatever animal cake we had chosen.

    I carried on the cake tradition with my three children, although they got presents.

    Happy Birthday!!! I hope you get something really good for your birhtday. I don't think I have ever had a really good birhtday since I was really little. I think the best thing I ever got was....ummmm....money! I got money when I was little. As an adult, I can't remember the last time I got anything other than a Happy Birthday wish. I did win a nice set of earrings last year in a giveaway "on my birhtday"! It was sooo cool!

    Wishing you a belated happy birthday! The best birthday gift that I can remember is the surprise party that my daughter threw for me when I turned 50! She totally surprised me, and went all out.
