Sunday's media madness...

Last month I was sad to learn that one of my favorite authors, Lilian Jackson Braun, passed away.  In her memory I wanted to share her writing with my readers, many of you may have read at least one of her books, epically if you love mysteries and/or cats.  Her series, called The Cat Who series was started in 1966 with the first book titled The Cat Who Could Read Backwards and went on for another 28 books, concluding in 2007 with The Cat Who Had 60 Whiskers.  Those books and all the ones in the middle contain The Cat Who... in the title, are dedicated to "Earl Bettinger the husband who..."  and star James Qwilleran and his two Siamese cats, Kao K'o Kung or KoKo for short and Yum Yum.  Together they solove all manor of homicide crime that comes their way, with KoKo being the brains and Mr. Q being the muscle, at least that's what KoKo thinks.

The books in order are:

1.The Cat Who Could Read Backwards (1966)
2.The Cat Who Ate Danish Modern (1967)
3.The Cat Who Turned On and Off (1968)
4.The Cat Who Saw Red (1986)
